The Voice Choice

We follow the voice we hear the most. It can be overwhelming hearing the noise around us. Who are you listening to?

In the Bible, every faithful believer discovered how to discern the voice of the Lord over all other voices. Sometimes his voice came in the night (Samuel). Sometimes it came on the mountain (Moses). Sometimes it came in the valley (David). Sometimes it came in a dream (Joseph). Sometimes it came in a vision(Isaiah). “I heard the voice of the Lord saying...” Is 6:8.

God has spoken. He has given us His Word to speak to us, day after day.

God's voice is in the verses of His sent Word.

"My sheep hear my voice and they know me." John 10:27

"Whoever is of God hears the words of God." John 8:47

"So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." Rom 10:17

"It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life." John 6:63

"If anyone hears my voice & opens the door, I will come in to him & eat with him, & he with me." Rev 3:20

"And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, 'This is the way, walk in it.' ” Isaiah 30:21

"And I heard a voice from heaven like the roar of many waters." Rev 14:2.

The voice choice is ours today. Who are you listening to? Your own voice, the world’s voice, or the majestic voice of the King? He has a word for you. Rise above the noise. Choose this day the voice you will follow.

All scripture quoted from The Holy Bible: English Standard Version, (Wheaton, IL: Crossway Bibles, 2016), Re 14:1–2.
